WHY USE ABSORBENT INSERTS IN THE COASTERS: Iced drinks often sweat, with the moisture collecting on the silicone coaster. When you pick up the glass, some of this moisture drips on your clothes or furniture. However, the inserts absorb this moisture and prevent dripping.
